John Lanyon, Edward Fenton, Adrian Lancini and Rob Stepney peforming Poetry on Tap at Charlbury Riverside Festival.

Imagine a beer festival with poetry instead of beer, but just as intoxicating

A fast-moving show from Four Wordsmen Of The Apostrophe – the authors of A Funny Way With Words and Words Go Out To Play. Tasting notes are handed out, with brief descriptions of their eclectic poems and prose, rated in flavour from light to dark, and mild to bitter.

The audience are invited to choose which pieces are performed by the writers, and the names of the pieces crossed off, until either you can consume no more, or their barrels of lyrical nectar have run dry.

Poetry on Tap is available to hire for festivals, weddings, dog shows, swimming galas and coffee mornings.
